The Australian Events Academy (AEA) has organised for 40 of their students to take a educational tour of the Business Events exhibition Inspire Ex at the Sydney Exhibition Centre at Glebe Island. The students will be hearing from the show organisers, touring the show floor and getting an insider’s experience of a trade exhibition.
This tour will take what the students have been learning in the classroom and putting it into practise.
The Diploma of Events that these students are studying has been specifically developed by the Academyto provide our future industry leaders the knowledge they require to further develop their careers. It also provides experienced industry operators with the opportunity to receive a qualification in the industry they have chosen.
“The events industry is predominantly a face to face environment and there’s no better way to help provide our future industry leaders with the experience they need than by attending a Business Events expo,” says Linda Gaunt, MEA CEO.
“The development of our industry is of vital importance and Inspire-Ex is committed to assisting these future leaders develop the skills they need.” says Gary Daly, CEO of Exhibitions and Trade Fairs, the exhibition organisers. Inspire-Ex is also delivering a seminar program at the show including international and domestic key note speakers. A further sign of the commitment of Inspire Ex to develop skills in our industry.
Another Diploma of Events cluster of courses will be commencing in January 2015 and its reach will be extended.
