At AIME 2014 the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre announced the launch of new technology brand IMAGINE.
In an Australian convention centre first, MCEC also unveiled its new Visualisation Studio which allows customers to work with the technology team to design, create and view a virtual three dimensional representation of their event space.
From a gala dinner or large conference through to a concert or small meeting, IMAGINE offers solutions that can be tailored for any requirements and enhance the overall event and customer experience.
MCEC’s Director of Technology Operations, Michael Walsh, says the creative in-house solutions provided by the team, or in consultation with event production teams, are what sets MCEC’s offering apart.
“Our team is recognised as one of the best in the industry and constantly strive to deliver innovative and cost-effective options for customers using the latest technology.
“We want customers to know they are in reliable hands; not only will the team bring your event to life, but they will make it memorable and ensure your guests leave with a lasting impression,” he added.
MCEC’s award-winning technology team has decades of experience in lighting, audio, vision and IT, which together with their knowledge of the venue and industry provide a real point of difference for customers.
Other in-house innovations include MCEC’s Intelligent Lecterns with everything the presenter needs at a touch of a button, webcasting and event recording via M Channel, social media integration and much more.
IMAGINE was created based on customer feedback around a lack of understanding on MCEC’s in-house technology offering and to communicate the range of industry leading technologies on offer.
MCEC Technology Services Manager, Paul Rumble spoke to ASE about the services available through the Visualisation Studio and in particular how they prepared for the AIME buyers luncheon.
