Delwin Kriel has been appointed to the role of Sales Manager for AIME, bringing more than 17 years of industry experience to the position.
Mr Kriel will be the key contact for Exhibitors, in addition to assuming responsibility for selling floor space and sponsorship opportunities.
Jacqui Timmins, Exhibition Director at AIME and CIBTM, said Mr Kriel’s comprehensive experience in the business events and travel industry gives him the knowledge required to enable exhibitors to get the most of their time at the event.
“Delwin’s skill set will be integral to taking AIME to the next level and providing exhibitors with first class service,” said Ms Timmins.
Business development will be the main focus for Mr Kriel at AIME and he is looking forward to working with the industry towards what is set to be a strong year for the time-honoured event.
“AIME is such a unique, exciting event and I’m thrilled to be on board and working towards what we’re sure will be an outstanding year in 2014,” said Mr Kriel.

Prior to joining the team at AIME, Mr Kriel’s experience included working as Event Manager for Exhibition & Trade Fairs where he was responsible for the overall management and delivery of exhibitions and events.
