Saxton Speakers Bureau have announced the appointment of Anne Jamieson as Chief Executive Officer. She will commence in the newly formed role in August 2018.
Announcing the appointment Managing Director Winston Broadbent commented, “Anne is an outstanding leader and her track record managing teams is exceptional.
“She is a highly impressive talent, known for her collaborative leadership style, service excellence and delivering revenues to organisations,” he added.
Anne brings a wealth of experience on a global scale; with over 30 years in venues, event management and customer experience.
Anne is a highly respected leader in the events industry.
She is a seasoned business manager with a track record of developing teams, empowering people and instilling strategic vision to achieve competitive gain.
For the last nine years, Anne has been a Director at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, building a high performing business development and sales team.
She has a keen eye for innovative new services and was integral in the recently announced world-first exclusive partnership between C2 International and MCEC.
She was also responsible for the management of the Club Melbourne Ambassador Program.
Anne is the current Chair of Meetings and Events Australia, the peak body for the events industry; a Board member of the Victorian Tourism Industry Council and Chair of the Victorian Events Council, the peak body for Victoria’s events industry.

Anne was born and educated in Melbourne. She lives in Melbourne with her husband and adult son, and has a daughter who lives in England.
