AVPartners will help improve the lives of sick children and young people in Western Australia for the fifth year running through their sponsorship of Telethon.
AVPartners will provide audio, vision and lighting support throughout the 26 hour live television broadcast at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC).
The value of AVPartners’ sponsorship over the last five years is in excess of $900,000.
Since its inception in 1968, Telethon has raised over $133 million for charitable organisations supporting children and young people, children’s hospitals and research/medical facilities in Western Australia.
Ryan Taylor, Managing Partner at AVPartners Perth said “Telethon is one of those amazing events where the entire WA community rallies together for a wonderful cause. We are talking about raising funds to make a significant, and in many cases, a life changing impact on the lives of seriously ill children and their families.”
“We’re very proud to support Telethon and are very honoured to have the opportunity to showcase what we do best to ensure this event is a huge success.”
This year’s Telethon Weekend will be held on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 October at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. Telethon is televised on Channel 7 Perth and on the Golden West Network throughout Regional Western Australia.
