Business Events Australia is inviting attendees at this year’s Pacific Area Incentives & Conferences Expo (PAICE) to be “inspired at breakfast time” with one of Australia’s pre-eminent conference speakers.
As the major sponsor of PAICE in 2014, Business Events Australia is hosting its ‘Destination Australia’ breakfast with innovation consultant and founder of the Ingenious Oz Project, Nigel Collin.
In 2013, Nigel travelled the length and breadth of Australia to uncover the inspiring people who are the soul of the country and encouraging them to share their stories of innovation and ingenuity.
“Nigel’s travels have helped to unearth a wealth of ingenious ideas which have made a tremendous difference to local communities, businesses and the country in general,” said Business Events Australia’s general manager Penny Lion.
“We want to demonstrate to event planners that Australia is a destination that can deliver events that inspire delegates. There’s incredible innovation and creativity happening here every day in Australia, providing the perfect backdrop for progressive, exciting and memorable events.
“We hope our breakfast guests thoroughly enjoy the journey Nigel will take us on, and leave feeling invigorated for their next business event in Australia.”
At PAICE 2014, Business Events Australia, together with 20 business event bureaux, venues and destinations from Australia, will be highlighting how the country is not only a global leader in terms of destination choices, incentive programs, event spaces and food and wine experiences, but more importantly how these factors encourage great business outcomes.
Research commissioned by Business Events Australia revealed the importance of Australia to the region, and in particular New Zealand, as a place to do business. Its proximity to other key markets as well as exceptional business event facilities are seen as key drivers in choosing it as a host destination.
