The Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre has appointed production expert Steve Chezzi to manage its state-of-the-art Centre Video Production (CVP) unit.
Mr Chezzi has more than 20 years’ experience in production and events and managed his own boutique audiovisual and production company, Efex, for many years.
He has produced and executed a range of award-winning programs for large corporate events, exhibitions and visual displays, with clients including multi-national companies and government organisations. He has also set up and managed several post-production facilities and broadcast studio operations.
Centre Technical Production and Design Manager Paul Davison said Mr Chezzi’s appointment reflected the expanding breadth of production offerings at the Centre.
“Steve’s skills are perfect for CVP. On top of corporate video projects, the unit is increasingly producing digital media content for events, drawing on our new super wide screen video formats and blended image technology, so Steve is the ideal person to oversee this work,” Mr Davison said.
Located within the Centre, CVP is a boutique production unit which provides a range of services to Centre clients and third parties, and offers script writing, filming, directing, editing, web broadcasting, conference video production and fully-equipped production suites.
CVP is part of the Centre Technical Production and Design team which is the winner of this year’s Meetings & Events Australia (MEA) National Awards for best in-house audio visual services.
