Event Project Manager / Event Operations
We require a talented person with an outgoing personality, strong organisational skills and an eye for the finer detail to join our dynamic group.
Working closely with our senior operations team you would be working on a range of programs encompassing domestic conferences & meetings, international study tours & incentives as well as specialist events.
Event Production, Management & Co-ordination
: Work closely with the event operations team in producing & executing new and exciting event concepts.
: Prepare relevant event related documentation such as schedules, run-sheets, menus & presentations as and when required.
: Co-ordination and delivery of event items from suppliers.
: Management of event proceedings i.e. bump in & bump out for events in conjunction with the operations team.
: Creation of itineraries, co-ordination & logistics i.e. flights & movements.
Travel Program Co-ordination
: Work closely with the event operations team in the preparation of travel program itineraries for study tours & incentive travel.
: Prepare relevant program documentation in conjunction with our internal systems i.e. such as online travel planning registration programs.
: Liaison with travel suppliers such as group airline departments and major overseas hotel groups.
Supplier Management & Liaison
: Work together with the operations team responsible for supply side relations. This would include attending new and existing supplier meetings, famils and trade shows.
: Source appropriate suppliers / venues / hotels for events & compile venue quote comparisons
: Co-ordinate administration associated with internal & external meetings.
: Maintenance of the client & supplier databases.
: Create, send and follow-up all quotations & respond to requests in a timely manner.
PR & Marketing
: Work together with the team on social media tools and online e-marketing.
: Attend client meetings as and when required.

: Experience within the event / and or travel industry
: Passion to want to work in the event industry / and or travel industry
: Superior organisational skills
: Excellent phone communication & writing skills
: Driven with high energy levels
: Attention to fine detail
: Ability to network (with suppliers, delegates & clients)
: Strong knowledge of MS Office
: Previous experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Online Registration programs, MYOB and Salesforce is an advantage
: Strong understanding of social media
: English must be first language
A negotiable package $45-55k + super depending upon experience.
