The days of conference presenters boring event audiences all over Australia are numbered with the launch of Triple Eden: Event Communication Training.
Triple Eden training goes right to the heart of event managers and professional conference organisers needing to deliver return on investment for their clients.
Three event industry professionals with a passion for event communication are the driving force behind this new initiative.
Rob Vass – Show Production Institute, Felicity Zadro – Zadro Communications and Nigel Collin – Leading Creatives have devised a training formula to meet the needs of busy event people.
Over three days, in three different weeks, participants will learn how to manage and mentor presenters to be interesting, provide great content and rehearse, then how to promote presenters as a cornerstone to their event marketing strategy and finally how to deliver a compelling and professional session.
Rob Vass says this is the missing link in many event managers’ bag of tricks. He delivers the first day of training.
‘Often conference and event speakers organise themselves without anyone proofing their content or presentation style. The first session addresses these issues square on with practical, helpful tools and tips,’ said Vass.
Felicity Zadro heads up the second component of the training – the promotion.
‘Once you know you have a great line-up, you need to get the word out. This session looks at how to boost attendance at events, facilitate engagement and how to use your presenters as a drawcard.’
Nigel Collin uses his extensive speaking, acting, presenting and event experience to deliver a guide on how to really connect with and an engage an audience during a presentation.
‘What really grabs you when you watch an inspiring speaker is their ability to connect. You need to be genuine, real and personal to have impact and keep your audience’s attention, rather than just going through the motions and becoming a robotic presenter. Anyone who has done any type of public speaking, or wants to do so, needs to attend this day.’
The first Triple Eden training series starts on 11 April at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth. Places are selling fast with the first day of session two already sold out.
