Exhibitions & Trade Fairs (ETF), a major producer of consumer and trade shows continues on a path of growth and were last night presented with two awards at the Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia (EEAA) Awards for Excellence.
Motorclassica was awarded Best Consumer Show Over 10,000m2 and the National 4 X 4 Outdoor Show & Fishing and Boating Expo, Melbourne, was awarded Best Show Team. Also, the Irrigation Australia Exhibition was given a Highly Commended for Best Show Team. The company’s young achievers were also acknowledged with Danielle Oborn and Andy Orr both finalists in the Richard Geddes Young Star Award.
Speaking just after receiving the highly regarded awards, Gary Daly, Managing Director, said: “This was a big surprise. We knew that we have delivered some world-class shows in the past year, with ETF being shortlisted in eight categories, but to win Best Show Team and Best Consumer Show was fantastic. It has been a strong year for ETF and the show teams have worked hard to ensure we deliver great events.”
“We’re delighted to mark the achievements of all of our shortlisted shows. Winning Best Show Team was particularly pleasing because they have worked tirelessly to ensure the show’s success.”
“Recognition by the EEAA through being shortlisted for so many awards is testament to the hard work of all of our teams.”
The EEAA also hosted their yearly conference during the day and invited Daly to take part in a panel of experts at the conference, discussing ‘A Year in Review – An Australian Organisers and Associations Perspective’.
The awards come during a period of growth for ETF. The company has introduced nine new shows to the ETF portfolio in the past 18 months, which will take place around Australia, Asia and Europe between 2015 through 2019.
