ExpoNet have successfully delivered a global custom stand solution – project managed and designed from its Australian offices and built in Detroit, USA. The stand was strategically and creatively designed in order to allow member organisations to participate as stand co-exhibitors and promote the upcoming World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems – the Asia Pacific event is to be held in Melbourne in 2016.
The ITS World Congress is an international event focused on bringing together professionals from the transportation industry to showcase and review advances in transport connectivity, automation, mobility and industry economic impact. The Congress rotates between a North American, European and Asia Pacific destination every year.
Once ExpoNet was appointed as the official contractor building the Melbourne 2016 exhibition, the team partnered with ITS Australia and went beyond national borders and indeed traditional supplier services to ensure they proactively assisted with the marketing and promotion of the Melbourne 2016 ITS World Congress at international intervening meetings.
Showcasing ExpoNet’s unique service offering, the team utilised its international supplier network to select a Detroit based experiential marketing team – EEI Global – to deliver on ExpoNet’s design and project management specifications in order to construct the 3D custom marketing solution at the Detroit 2014 event.
The reaction from Intelligent Transport Systems Australia, the local representation of the international network of ITS associations, was overwhelmingly positive. Janette Sofronidis, Event and Sponsorship Manager, said “Please let me say once again, how thrilled we were with the stand onsite and how easy the process has been from our perspective from start to finish. ExpoNet were able to completely deliver on our brief and in collaboration with your global partner, produce a top quality product (from half way around the world) from which we were extremely proud to host international dignitaries, key business partners for our Australian and New Zealand delegation, plus importantly, several additional member organisations as stand co-exhibitors.
I’m very much looking forward to continuing our relationship as we work towards an even bigger presence in Bordeaux, France next year, as we look to explore options to extend and include representation from our friends within the various Asia Pacific Associations as well.”
The ExpoNet team now plans to continue to work in collaboration with ITS Australia and MCI Australia (the appointed Melbourne 2016 ITS World Congress Organisers), to deliver on further marketing opportunities for the client at the next World Congress to be held in 2015 in Bordeaux, France.
