Brisbane Marketing has secured the Australian Technical Analysts Association’s (ATAA) next national conference in Brisbane.
Scheduled for 15-17 October 2010, the annual ATAA conference will be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) and is expected to attract approximately 250 delegates from across the country.
The conference will cover a range of financial and investment topics and is recognised as a major event for traders and investors who are serious about being successful in the markets.
Brisbane Marketing’s Director, Convention Bureau, Ms Annabel Sullivan said the conference win was another example of interstate meeting planners capitalising on Brisbane’s new world city strengths and appeal as a business events destination.
“Brisbane has an exceptional range of facilities and infrastructure ideally suited to hosting meetings and conferences,” said Ms Sullivan.
“There’s immense diversity in the business events offer and I am confident that ATAA delegates will be impressed with Brisbane’s ability to deliver a great conference experience.”
ATAA event organiser, Mr Jeff Clark said the conference was the leading event of its kind in Australia.
“This is a great opportunity for traders and investors at all levels – from beginner to industry professional – to learn from the some of most esteemed names in the business,” said Mr Clark.
He said this conference was a significant event for the business sector and Brisbane Marketing had been a great source of support, helping to secure quotes from venues, accommodation and a range of AV and theming operators.
According to Mr Clark, Brisbane conferences have always been very well received by the ATAA members and the city and facilities are excellent.
Additional support provided by Brisbane Marketing includes delegate boosting activities, printing of promotional postcards and negotiation of Airtrain rates for delegates.
