The champagne corks have barely popped to herald the arrival of the new year, but South Australian-owned events and conference management company, All Occasions Group, has hit the ground running with three big events across three states in the first three months of the year!
Anne-Marie Quinn, Managing Director of All Occasions Group, said, “We have worked hard in the convention and tourism industries on staying true to our word and delivering an outstanding experience at all levels. It’s a fabulous feeling and a true reflection of the quality of our team to kick start 2011 with such a big bang!”
The All Occasions Group started the year with the “2011 Biennial Conference for the South Pacific Educators in Vision Impairment” in Sydney from 16–21 January. This event demonstrated All Occasions Group’s ability to manage diversity and accessibility requirements with a range of delegates with differing needs in attendance. The conference attracted over 180 delegates and was held at the Marriott Sydney Harbour.
Moving into February, the team will head to Melbourne for the “Australian Agricultural and Resources Economics Society National Conference”, where over 300 delegates will come together for four days at the Crown Conference Centre.
In March, the team will return home to Adelaide to work on the 4 day “Urban Development Institute of Australia National Congress”. This event, at the Adelaide Convention Centre, will see approximately 700 delegates in attendance with additional activities and events showcasing Adelaide and South Australia such as the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Barossa Valley, Glenelg and various venues hosting golf, cycling and site tours.
The three events will see All Occasions Group strengthening key relationships with their suppliers including Haigh’s Chocolates and the local South Australian wine industry – some people have all the luck!!
With the rest of the year still to come, it can be assured that All Occasions Group is going to have a blockbuster year of outstanding conferences and events!
