Leading technical event production company Haycom has expanded its Adelaide based operations with the acquisition of the well-respected South Australian supplier Multivision, in this latest move to increase its national footprint and forge ahead with its business growth strategy.
Effective 1 September 2014, the acquisition sees Haycom take over all of Multivision’s equipment, clients and permanent team members who will be moving to Haycom’s existing Adelaide warehouse in Maple Avenue, Forestville.
Haycom Directors Alan Hay, Mario Valenti and Stuart Gregg have led the acquisition negotiations and all agree it was a long-standing relationship of more than 30 years with Multivision that helped secure the merger, along with a shared passion for producing high quality events.
“We’ve already delivered some great shows in Adelaide and have won lots of new local clients in our first year, however, this acquisition will accelerate our growth and help establish us further in the Adelaide market, providing some very valuable local work,” Mr Valenti added.
The exciting new partnership comes just 12 months after Haycom entered the South Australian market, and just 16 months after merging with t7 event solutions. Haycom’s growth strategy suggests further acquisitions may be imminent
