The association representing the creative events profession globally ISES is again connecting emerging event professionals to the industry via the second annual Emerging Professionals Event 2014 on 11 June at APM and William Blue Colleges in North Sydney.
This years’ event is titled EX3: Explore, Experience, Exceed; it is designed to connect emerging professionals with the pillars of ISES – Creativity, Inspiration, Education and Community.
By bringing together some of the associations’ most impressive and inspirational members, emerging professionals will have the opportunity to learn and network with key members of the events industry. The event providing them with insights that will help them prepare for their event careers.
EX3 2014 has been designed and developed by a team of keen students from South Western Sydney Institute.
Scott Bellingham, President ISES Sydney, said “the event is really an event by emerging professionals, for emerging professionals”.
“ISES work with them to give access to our inspirational members and potential sponsors, however, the emerging professionals have the opportunity to tell us what they want to know about, rather than what we think they should know.”
This year’s line-up looks to provide something for all. SongDivision, will provide the opening address and to provide guests a glimpse of their musical team building that Sir Richard Branson himself endorses.
Other presenters and workshop facilitators include Keith Wooton from award winning AV1, The Electric Canvas, MCI Australia and Rob Vass from Turning Point Solutions. In addition, Event Workforce will be addressing how to make an impression on site and your social media profile; ensuring these emerging professionals are work-ready.
The event is sponsored by some well-known names who are keen to support the future of the event industry – Event Workforce, APM and William Blue Colleges, Song Division and AV1.
