Experienced event managers, young professionals and new university gradates have less than one week to take advantage of the early-bird discount rates for the specialised Executive Certificate of Event Management short course held in Sydney this April.
Taught by the internationally renowned Australian Centre for Event Management (ACEM) based at the University of Technology in Sydney (UTS), the Executive Certificate is regarded as the most prestigious short-course in event management amongst prospective employers and industry leaders in government, corporate and not-for-profit organisations.
Interested students only have until Monday 28th February to register for the Early-Bird special rate in Sydney, which is a total saving of $300. Early-bird rates will also be available for courses in Perth and Melbourne, and discounts are given for charity organisations.
“The Executive Certificate caters for students of all levels of experience, whether you are a young professional trying to break into the events industry or change jobs, or an experienced event manager wanting to update your skills-set and keep abreast of industry trends and innovations,” said Robert Harris, ACEM director.
With the first intake of students commencing in Sydney from 18th – 21st April 2011, the Executive Certificate in Event Management is taught over distinct two units, Event Management and Marketing; and Event Operations, providing a total of six days. The course will be delivered by employing a mix of lectures, class exercises and case studies from Australia’s most experienced event industry experts.
In the 12 years that ACEM has been offering events management courses, the centre has become a world leader in the field of event management education, with over 6000 people attending the short course programs in Australia and internationally.
“All ACEM graduates develop a detailed and intelligent basis in theory and real-life case studies, matched with practical insights from successful industry professionals and leaders. We offer students globally recognised credentials and an invaluable networking experience and many of our students have gone on to achieve great things in events overseas,” said Mr Harris.
