Olympic Scrapbook – Sydney Olympic Park

The grounds of Sydney Olympic Park were alive with many surprises.

The Lindeman’s wine bar was housed in a very stylish double storey marquee and proved extremely popular with queues all day

This open space provided patrons with a place to relax and watch the channel 7 broadcast on a big screen, watch some sheep shearing or get some food.

One of the “Lifeguards” who helped people along; encouraging them to “swim between the flags” and “stay out of the rip”

Outside the Superdome this fan displays her support for the Australian Women’s Basketball team

The Samsung RendezVous where athletes were interviewed in front of a packed audience

The world’s biggest temporary burger bar. And yes the Torch went past this one too.

The staff were friendly, “fries this way”
