The Opening Ceremony of the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games has been conceived and produced by Jack Morton Worldwide.

In recent years it has produced many innovative and award-winning large scale public events and experiences that have captured the imagination of billions of people across the world.

These include the Opening and Closing Ceremonies for the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, the Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games and the Salt Lake 2002 Paralympic Winter Games, ‘The Peoplescape’ – A Celebration of the Centenary of Federation in Canberra, and the Hong Kong Handover and Farewell Ceremonies.

Most recently, Jack Morton conceived and produced the Australian Cultural Programme at the 2005 World Exposition in Aichi, Japan.
