The Event

Although billed as an incentive dinner this was more like a four-act stage production.

The staging of the event was inspired by Starlight Express and involved over 90 performers and 60 crew.

Prelude

As the 1200 guests entered the exhibition hall they were greeted by balloon makers, stilt walkers and magicians to keep them amused until all the guests had arrived.
Act 1
The show opened with a countdown and “spaceship” lift off.  Lots of smoke, lasers and live music from the orchestra that was revealed when the cover of the orchestra stage lifted to then become a feature of the stage.

Six extreme skaters did jumps and tricks off the skate ramps that crossed the stage as another 10 roller bladers weaved amongst them and the pyros.

The Laseroid was flown from the back of the room to centre stage where he performed a short routine that finished with the lasers triggering the AMWAY logo that was projected across the set.
Interlude
The ABBA tribute band provided dinner music
Act 2
A dozen or more performers who juggled, cracked whips and more with fire while pyros added more fire. 

This segued into Strange Fruit on either side of the stage floating about amongst bubbles.

The aerial artists appeared to float under their umbrellas
