Partnership between the Venue Management Association and TAFE NSW South Western Sydney Institute
The Venue Management Association delivers the Public Venue Management School (PVMS), a comprehensive training and assessment program, to its members.
As the PVMS is not an accredited course, the VMA worked with TAFE NSW South Western Sydney Institute to put a formal Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process into place to enable students who have successfully completed the PVMS course to receive full credit towards the TAFE NSW Diploma of Venue Management.
This agreement is made in the spirit of collaboration, communication and cooperation between TAFE NSW - South Western Institute and the Venue Management Association.
The Public Venue Management School aims to provide a unique educational program through which venue management operators and those who provide key services to the industry can learn new skills to better market and manage their venues. It also provides opportunity for students to enhance their network of professional contacts within the venue and public assembly management industry.
In partnering with TAFE NSW South Western Sydney Institute, graduates from the course are able to have their skills and knowledge validated to achieve a nationally accredited qualification. This is turn assists articulation into university education.
