10th December
Sydney has doubled the size of its stand at the 16th Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo (AIME) in February, bringing a record number of exhibitors to showcase the most exciting event options available in New South Wales.
The Sydney Convention and Visitors Bureau will unveil a much larger presence at AIME 2008, teaming up with 25 exhibiting partners on a spectacular 180sqm stand created by Moreton Hire.
Spanning a central aisle and featuring a contemporary lounge in which buyers and exhibitors can meet, the Sydney and New South Wales stand will play host to an exclusive cocktail event for invited VIP buyers. Invitations are only available from exhibitors at the Sydney stand during the show.
The SCVB will also use AIME 2008 to launch its new-look Events Planners Guide for 2008, completely redesigned based on the feedback of 300 meeting planners to create a clearer and easier to use reference, backed by an improved online facility.
The 2008 guide will be joined by a new-look Sydney Incentive brochure, loaded with fantastic destination ideas for corporate decision makers.
SCVB Managing Director Jon Hutchison said the bureau and its exhibiting partners were ready to make a big impact at AIME, showcasing Sydney’s latest developments and best new product.
“By joining together on a single stand, the SCVB and its partners will create a much bigger impact at AIME 2008 and give visitors a much better taste of what’s new and what’s on offer in Sydney and New South Wales,” Mr Hutchison said.
