An all time record was set as MEA members bid furiously for holiday and accommodation packages, wine hampers and experiences of a lifetime, generously donated by over 40 industry supporters. The MEA annual auction is one of the most important functions on the events calendar as it raises funds to support the 2007 Ruth Ellis Student Scholarship available to students in their final year of undergraduate or TAFE equivalent studies. The scholarship also supported by ICMS Pty Ltd provides a student from
Victoria
with a full registration to the MEA national conference, as well as travel and accommodation.
Telstra Dome has 15 function rooms which can be adapted to create 21 individual breakout rooms. The multiple options make this facility the venue of choice for a range of functions and events, including: conferences and seminars, business forums and presentations, gala dinners, cocktail functions, trade shows, product launches and award ceremonies. The networking activities and auction and was staged in the Medallion Terrace Bar which has spectacular views of the arena.
