Big Plans, Huge Strategy, Great Team, Customer Service being the goal
Being renowned for always being on the front foot, The Cleanevent Group are on the move again with a solid structure announced for their New South Wales Operations, that is in aligned with the announcements made earlier in the year by CEO Chris Katsiavos.
The restructure of the Australian based business into a formation of State based structure has further enabled the Group to better service its clients and maximise the opportunities.
"Business needs to be flexible and prepared to evolve when growth and expansion occurs. We are proud to announce the new Management structure for our NSW operations ably led by the recent appointment of Derek Leslie as the State Manager” said CEO Chris Katsiavos
A consummate professional, Derek has led and achieved growth through strategic planning, change and hands-on management in the major events industry, culminating in recognition and appointment as the Principal Logistics Adviser to the Beijing Olympic Games in 2005. Having completed his advisory work for the Beijing Olympic Games, Derek has become available for new challenges within the Cleanevent business.
An expert in planning and delivering large-scale logistics solutions, Derek has been sought out within the industry to benchmark and trouble-shoot operations, and to plan and drive change. He successfully undertook these tasks for Linfox (Aust.),
Sydney
Ferries Corporation and the
Atlanta
and Athens Olympic Games. He has been sought out for strategic advice on supply and distribution solutions by United Parcel Service (USA) and for the London 2012 Olympic Games Bid.
Derek is well known to the company as he was part of the assessment team that awarded the prestigious Sydney 2000 Olympic Games to Cleanevent in 1997, and joins the Group with solid management credentials.
