Monica Gaudion-Hurford, Director and Owner of Way Out Theatreworks in Manly, QLD, was yesterday recognised as a finalist at the 2008 Telstra QLD Business Women's Awards.
Monica was a finalist in the Nokia Business Innovation Award, for women who have recently introduced an innovative product, service or idea to their business or place of work. Monica Gaudion-Hurford is Owner and Director of Way Out Theatreworks, a Queensland-based entertainment agency providing skilled performers, custom entertainment and event management services.
The company’s services range from corporate and team building events to themed shows, feature acts, murder mystery parties and roving entertainment. Monica has developed an innovative program called ‘Purpose Built Communications’, which uses a specialised team of scriptwriters, actors and stage directors to develop a theatre performance that can creatively communicate a client’s corporate message to their stakeholders.
