Haycom Pty Ltd announced today that Gary Hackett had joined the board of Haycom’s parent company, Avolve Pty Ltd in a non-executive capacity.
Hackett was founder and Managing Director of Staging Connections, a business he commenced in the mid 80’s and sold to AAV Ltd in 2003. Hackett is well known in both the audiovisual and hospitality industries as an innovative business strategist.
In commenting on the board appointment Alan Hay said, “I am delighted that
Gary
has chosen to join our board. Our decision to divest our interest in Avantage Pty Ltd frees us to explore opportunities arising from an association with Gary and AVPartners” (AVPartners is Hackett’s current business, specialising in providing in-house audiovisual services to five-star hospitality venues.)
Hackett commented, “Haycom is a highly respected audiovisual company with great people who understand client needs and expectations. Haycom’s value and reputation has been built over 30 years and I’m pleased to have been asked to assist the team to further develop their unique service offering.”
