Staging Connections wins MEA NSW and MEA ACT Technical and Creative Production Awards

5th March 2009

Staging Connections has won two prestigious Technical and Creative Production awards at the annual NSW and ACT Meetings and Event Industry Awards held at Staging Connections’ partner venue, Doltone House. This is the second year in a row that Staging Connections has won the MEA NSW and MEA ACT Technical and Creative Production Awards.

The Technical and Creative Production category covers staging, production, and/or multimedia for meetings and special events and is judged on how event companies work with and contribute to, the meetings and events industry – with a strong emphasis on partnership.

According to Philip Black , Staging Connections’ Director of Sales and Marketing the win reaffirms Staging Connections’ ongoing commitment to the events industry and the lengths the Company’s passionate employees go to ensure every event delivers on its vision of ‘every event the best it can be’.

“We are delighted that the work of our NSW and ACT teams was recognised by our peers. The event was particularly significant in that our local team’s expertise was on show as Staging Connections is the in-house audio visual and event staging services partner at Doltone House.

“Our teams across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji and in this instance, our NSW and ACT account managers, technicians and crew give 110% on every job. They are passionate about what they do and ultimately they are committed to ensuring our customers get the very best service in the industry,” Philip said.

As a state winner in NSW and ACT, Staging Connections now goes into the national awards which will be announced at the MEA National Conference in Adelaide from 5-7 April 2009.

Regional General Manager Teresa Amey accepted the award on behalf of the NSW team whilst ACT General Manager, Karsten Richert accepted on behalf of the Staging Connections Canberra team.
