Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart appoints Scene Change as In-house AV company

Tasmania ’s premier conference venue, the Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart, has appointed Scene Change as its in-house audiovisual service.

Since its formation in 2007, Scene Change has developed a strong following in Tasmania , working closely with the state’s major conference managers. Its performance was recognised earlier in the year with a State MEA award for Best Technical Production company.

“The choice was easy, we’ve worked with the Scene Change team many times and they always do a great job.  We’re very excited that this partnership we will bring our clients a fantastic AV offering with some new state of the art installations happening soon” said Grand Chancellor Hobart General Manager Ralph Freckelton.

The hotel will be equipped with all-new technology, including one of the fastest venue wireless networks in the country. All of the new technical team have extensive experience in the Grand Chancellor, having worked there for many years before Scene Change was formed.

“The next few years are looking very busy for Tasmania as a conference destination,” said Scene Change Director Rod Street . “We’re very excited about working in the Grand Chancellor again. Between the venue, the local PCO’s and our guys, Hobart offers a formidable level of teamwork and expertise.”
