The Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre made the most of its stunning harbourside location to create a carnival atmosphere when it hosted 74 international incentive buyers at a special luncheon this month.

tourism precinct, the Dreamtime 2009 guests were welcomed by colourful buskers, including flamboyant dancers and muscular surf lifeguards on stilts, as they strolled to the waterfront convention centre.
Once inside the Centre, the delegates enjoyed magnificent views over the city skyline and harbour while a team of chefs prepared a gourmet lunch featuring local produce such as
Kangaroo
Valley
truffles,
Northern
River
veal and
New South Wales
cheeses.
Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre Chief Executive Ton van Amerongen said feedback from the lunch had been overwhelmingly positive.
“We wanted to show delegates that the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre offers more than simply a venue for incentives we deliver the entire Sydney experience from our beautiful harbour to our vibrant entertainment and fantastic food,” Mr van Amerongen said.
