Business Events Australia marketing campaign recognised at EIBTM awards

Business Events Australia has been named as a finalist in the prestigious EIBTM Awards in the Best Destination Marketing Campaign category for its work to promote Australia as a sustainable and socially responsible business events destination.

The Best Destination Marketing Campaign called for nominations that could demonstrate an effective marketing campaign that delivered marked return on investment. Business Events Australia’s commitment to growing the country’s business events sector through its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives resonated well with judges.

The announcement of winners and the presentation of awards will take place on Wednesday 2 December.

Business Events Australia will continue to champion Australia ’s credentials as a sustainable business events destination when Business Events Australia meets with international buyers at EIBTM in Barcelona next week.

With a strong contingent of ten Australian sellers, Australia will enjoy a significant presence at the event which will provide access to more than 3,700 organisers and influencers of international business and incentive travel, meetings, conventions and events.

“EIBTM is the leading global event for the meetings and incentives industry and facilitates more than 50,000 meetings over the three days. For Australia , the event will be a prime opportunity to showcase the $8.1 billion of new business events infrastructure invested in the Australian industry,” said Joyce DiMascio, Head of Business Events Australia.
