In keeping with the Year of Austerity this year’s RSVP party was quite low key compared to previous years – indeed, there were not many who kicked on after the cash bar kicked in at 9 PM.

The girls were certainly catered for – makeup by Beautiful Thief and massage by Sole Sisters saw to that.  Plenty of tasty finger food to accompany the Campari cocktails and Jerson Trinidad, The Trust’s resident crooner had a handful of guests on the dancefloor.

The former Port of Melbourne Authority Building opened in 1932 and occupied it until 1982 when it was taken over by the State Electricity commission.  The building was vacant for a few years until the ground floor was restored by David Baccini and opened as The Trust Bar and Restaurant in 2001.
