The July ISES CONNECT event was once again held at RSVP

. The breakfast event was sponsored by SCEC who provided a sumptuous breakfast which was certainly welcomed by those who would be on their stands for the rest of the day.
ABC 702 radio host, Simon Marnie; Matt Brown of Matt Brown’s Greens and Mark Youssef the SCEC Purchasing/Control Manager comprised the panel for the event to discuss the topic “From the farm gate to the event plate”
Simon Marnie is a passionate foodie and he shared that passion with the audience. Matt Brown focussed on sourcing and delivering fresh produce to clients such as the SCEC.
Following the panel discussion utgoing Chapter President Meg Fisher passed on the sparkly presidential accoutrements to incoming President, Jeremy Garling
After the breakfast event the chapter AGM was held and the new executive committee were sworn in.
The new team for 2009-10 are Jeremy Garling, Paul Davison, Felicity Zadro, Nikki Doohan, Rob Frank, Simon Anderson, Lisa Whitehouse, Lisa Andrews, Christopher Stubbs, Susan Twigden, Gwen O’Toole, Vivien Reed, Nicola Francis, Joe de Abreu, Samantha Hawkins and Meg Fisher.
