Dockside and L’Aqua have always been popular venues for conferences and events – primarily because of the location overlooking Cockle Bay .  The venues are also popular due to the Dockside Group commitment to conferences and events.  Now this refurbishment has made the venues even more attractive.

Architecturally the refurb has provided clean lines in both rooms with integrated audio, lighting and projection.

The Sydney event scene is notorious for RSVP acceptances followed by too many no-shows.  Invitations to this party were in form of a little bling that was delivered to each invitee – it obviously got their attention, particularly with the chance of exchanging the glass bauble for a $2000 real number.

Consequently the venue was buzzing with industry types, supporters, wedding planners and of course the all important EAs (the real decision makers).

The entertainment was kept lo-key so networking could proceed unhindered and the venue appreciated.
