Sydney ’s Middle Head peninsular used to be the sole domain of the military.  With the scaling down of these establishments more land and buildings are becoming available for public use.

The military personnel who used to be based here enjoyed spectacular views over eastern Sydney Harbour , none more so that the NCOs who enjoyed the Sergeants Mess attached to the former Army barracks on this site.

The Mess has been complexly refurbished and is now owned and operated by Manuel Spinola of the QVB Tea Room.

Most guests to this event opted for the harbour access courtesy of Sydney Princess Cruises – and this would be a highly recommended option for any event.
