Urban Events, Venues & Catering, one of Australia’s leading event specialists and venue providers, has announced that The Argyle will undergo a major re-style to be revealed in spring 2013.
First opened in 2007 and set within The Rocks beautiful heritage buildings, The Argyle is both an exciting entertainment destination and a popular venue for corporate events – small and large. The re-styled venue will offer a range of new and distinct bar experiences all under the one roof.
Downstairs will feature an Asian-inspired Raffles-esque gin-sling lounge alongside grungy worn-leather seating for relaxed lounging. Upstairs, a nod to the Studio 54 era will see the main bar transformed into a gritty, contemporary disco-style space. Private booths will be available for exclusive hire and The Argyle dance floor will come to life with an impressive schedule of DJ’s playing every week. The previously all-white Belvedere Bar will begin a new life in shimmering gold. Of course the iconic cobbled courtyard will remain, creating the perfect backdrop for parties and celebrations into the summer months.
The Argyle will continue to cater for events of any size, from five to 1500 people. Its unique and flexible options allow for catering from any of the ArgyleXchange restaurants which include Saké Restaurant & Bar, The Cut Bar & Grill and Ananas Bar & Brasserie.
