Launching at AIME, Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC)’s new website makes it easier than ever for customers and visitors to get the best venue, destination and event information.
The redesigned website has been created for easy viewing and navigation on a desktop, tablet and mobile screen, making it simpler to find information when planning, booking and promoting events.
MCEC’s Director of Sales, Marketing and Club Melbourne Anne Jamieson said she welcomed the launch of the venue’s new website that has been built with customer and visitor needs top of mind.
“The new website has been six months in the making and offers an improved design and great features for customers and visitors to find the information they need, and new ways for customers to promote their events,” she said.
Some of the new website features include:
- A clever, contemporary design.
- Video content showing room and space capabilities.
- A site that is viewable on mobile, tablet or desktop devices.
- A detailed (month-by-month) what’s on section, helping customers better promote their event.
- New and interactive venue maps.
- An event planning resources section.
- A see and do section to discover MCEC and Melbourne.
With greater functionality and useability overall, visitors to the site can now view event videos, pricing and contact information in the ‘what’s on’ section.
When planning an event, customers can explore MCEC through new interactive room location maps and contextualise rooms and spaces across the entire venue.
MCEC’s diverse range of meeting rooms comes to life through short videos showing spaces, configurations and technology.
The website also provides key information on attractions, cafés, restaurants and bars surrounding the venue to make for a memorable Melbourne experience.
The new-look website incorporates a fresh visual design and complements the existing MCEC brand and style to help visitors and customers get the most out of MCEC online.
