The details of Meetings and Events Australia’s new Event Show Sydney will be revealed next Monday at the MEA2015 National Conference.
Delegates attending the conference at Hamilton Island will be the first to find out all the important details of the event including dates and venue.
MEA announced earlier this year that they would be hosting Sydney’s only events trade show in August but are yet to reveal the details.
The Event Show announcement, happening in the opening plenary, will reveal sponsors and explain to delegates how they can be a part of the event.
This will allow delegates a head start to get involved and will also provide them with opportunities to discuss the Event Show throughout the conference.
MEA CEO Linda Gaunt said she chose the National Conference to make the announcement so members could get the information about the event direct from the source.
“Our members, particularly those who will travel to Hamilton Island for the conference, are the people and businesses that will make the Event Show Sydney work and they deserve to hear the details first hand.
Since MEA2015 is a national conference it will also give us a chance to speak to our members from all over the country rather than having to restrict it to one particular state.”
The announcement will happen Monday 25th May.
