The stars of the event industry were on show tonight for MEA’s 2013 National Awards Gala Dinner at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. More than 50 finalist were nominated for the 28 different awards.
The awards are separated into five categories recognising individuals, venues, products and services, and organisation management. The gala dinner is MEA’s night of night and gives everyone a chance to acknowledge the fantastic work of events professionals within the industry.
This year’s theme, Asia Now, show cased the creativity of some attendees in their choice of costume. Producer, Meri Took, used Malaysian Pop as the inspiration for the stage design. Toby Travanner came back for the seventh year in a row to MC and attendees were treated with a seven course fusion dinner.
After the awards delegates danced the night away to Asian influenced pop music.
