Roxanne Hopkins has recently commenced in the role of Director of Marketing at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) in Brisbane following a lengthy recruitment process since the role was vacated by Leisa Bacon in August 2013.
Hopkins has over fifteen years marketing experience including events, retail and not for profit organisations as well as destination marketing. Most recently she worked for Brisbane Marketing, as Director – Marketing and Events, responsible for overseeing the marketing, communications, events and brand development functions for the city’s South Bank Parklands precinct.
Hopkins has also worked for several well-known brands including the Gold Coast’s Dreamworld and White Water World, as well as Youngcare and the Colorado Group.
Hopkins said “It is such an exciting time to be part of this organisation. This year QPAC will present three of its signature programs in one calendar year:Clancestry, A Celebration of Country, the Out of the Box Festival and, as part of the QPAC International Series the Australian debut of American Ballet Theatre. QPAC is a dynamic performing arts centre that is well known as a destination of the best in local, national and international live performance.”
