Nominations for the Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia’s (EEAA) National Awards for Excellence are now open.
The awards aim to recognise outstanding merit and leadership within the industry and provide an opportunity for members to showcase their innovation, performance and success.
A new award will be included this year – The Best Safety Initiative Award recognising the importance of safety in the exhibitions industry and the priority EEAA sets on best practice in this area.
Winners of each category will be announced at the Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner, 30 November at Plenary Hall 2 of the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Sponsored again by Octanorm as a major event partner, the venue of the Gala Dinner will be decorated by Microhire and Harry the Hirer with an art-deco peacock-inspired theme to compliment the decadent and celebratory nature of the evening.
Col Cameron, one of the quickest comedy minds in the business will emcee the evening. The Wacky group along with DJ Eddie Rinaldo will also provide entertainment.
Nominations close Friday 8 October 2010 so be sure to submit your nomination in advance. For more information about nominating please visit www.eeaa.com.au, contact the secretariat on 02 9413 9520 or contact Margaret Crichton
