Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre has been honoured with the prestigious Venue Caterers ‘Gold Plate Award’ for the third year running.
Presented by the Catering Institute of Australia (WA), the award represents the benchmark for excellence in the Venue Catering industry.
This title acknowledges PCEC’s impeccable food and service quality to deliver an unrivalled event experience.
PCEC’s General Manager, Dean Lee commented “Winning this award represents the successful delivery of our mission, to deliver quality service and catering.”
The accolade is a testament to the talents of PCEC’s Executive Chef, Nigel Keen and his team while also highlighting the attentive service that Catering Manager, Anton Augustine and the centre’s banqueting team provides.
“Our entire team needs to be congratulated on successfully winning this award for three years consecutively, it’s no small feat and is a great achievement which recognises the commitment of our staff to deliver excellence in all aspects of our business.” Mr Lee said.
Executive Chef, Nigel Keen stated “At PCEC, we pride ourselves on serving five star cuisine using fresh and local Western Australian produce that showcase Perth’s Mediterranean climate while also embracing other international culinary influences.”
Held in PCEC’s BelleVue Ballroom last night, the Gold Plate Awards presentation dinner was served a stand-out menu by the centre’s kitchen and banqueting team, enjoyed by over 900 guests.
In 2011 PCEC will vie for the prestigious Prix D’Honneur, which is the most amount of times one venue can win the award consecutively.
