Unless you’ve been to InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort you can’t appreciate how beautiful this resort, that’s tucked away at the northern end of the Gold Coast really is.
Recently the Sales team from the resort welcomed PCO’s from Sydney and Melbourne for a weekend exploring the resort and key Gold Coast attractions.
Partnering up with fellow IHG managed hotel Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise, the PCO’s arrived on Friday to start their weekend adventure which saw them enjoy one night at Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise; travel the Gold Coast way on the G:Link tram; enjoying the dolphin show and dinner with the Sharks at Seaworld; tuck into a delicious breakfast on top of the world at Four Winds Revolving Restaurant; and then get their heart racing with an exhilarating jet boat ride.
After they were back on dry land, it was onto InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort for a BBQ lunch on the beach beside the spectacular beach lagoon pool and a Jetski flyboard demonstration.
After lunch they were whisked away James Bond style in helicopters for a trip along the Surfers Paradise coastline before heading up to McLaren’s Landing for afternoon tea and some team building activities.
Saturday evening was spent at Dreamworld and included some Zombie Laser Tag, a dodgem car challenge in Kung Fu Panda Land; a demonstration and interaction with the Tigers, and a delicious themed dinner in the Candy Shop where even the center pieces were edible.
Before the famil came to an end, the PCO’s were wow’d with a delicious brunch in the Resort’s signature restaurant The Fireplace.
InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort’s Business Development Director Michael Foster said the weekend was the perfect way to showcase what both properties have to offer.
“It’s a wonderful experience to showcase our resort and our unique meeting and event space to PCO’s who have never been to Sanctuary Cove and the destination Gold Coast. Our famils are tailored to give everyone a look at each property and also experience our Insider Collection and unique activities, that can be built in to create the perfect itinerary.
“All of the PCO’s left really excited about the possibilities available to their clients and we look forward to working with them all in the future,” said Michael.
The teams at both resorts still have a number of famils scheduled for the remainder of the year including bringing some key PCO’s over from New Zealand.
