The 2010 Restaurant and Catering Association of Western Australia Awards for Excellence were held on Monday 21 June, 2010. Perth Concert Hall, managed by AEG Ogden (Perth) Pty Ltd, won the much coveted award for best ‘Venue Caterer’.
As well as awarding catering excellence, individuals were also recognised for their achievements.
In the category of ‘Function Chef of the Year’, Matthew Tierney was a finalist, and for ‘Catering Consultant of the Year’, Anneliese Hvalgaard, Event Sales Manager, Creating Events with Style was also a finalist. In the category of ‘Entertainment Restaurant’, Café at the Concert Hall and Barre Lounge Café were also finalists.
In the ‘Hospitality Awards’ section Rachel Winkless, Training and Recruitment Manager won the Best Employee category, awarded to an employee who has made an outstanding contribution to his or her profession and Kyllie Graham, General Manager Creating Events with Style won the Best Employer category, awarded to an outstanding Employer in the industry whose attitude and contribution to his/her profession has inspired public and colleagues’ confidence in the industry.
Kyllie Graham, General Manager of the Food & Beverage Division – known as Creating Events with Style said, “We are honored to be the recipient of this highly sought after ‘Venue Caterer’ award. The individual achievement in the ‘Employee and Employer’ categories provides a true indication of the quality and excellence of AEG Ogden (Perth) Pty Ltd and our staff.”
AEG Ogden has consistently won state and national awards every year since beginning their food and beverage operation in Perth.
This award, along with their many others, is evidence of AEG Ogden’s commitment to providing outstanding quality products and services.
