Entries for the 2014 awards closed yesterday and entry numbers were up significantly from the 2013 awards.
MEA’s national and state awards recognise the excellent work done by companies and individuals in the events industry and MEA CEO, Linda Gaunt, says the high level of entries show business are trying to stand out.
“This is proving that businesses and individuals are looking to showcase their talents and be noticed in the industry”, said Linda Gaunt.
Judging for the competition starts next week.
“While I can’t reveal exact number of entries I can tell you the judges have a momentous task on their hands”, said Linda Gaunt
MEA would like to thank everyone who entered and wish them the best of luck.
State winners will be announced at local awards presentations with state winners eligible for the National Awards to be presented at the MEA Conference on Hamilton Island in May 2015.
