Scene Change has announced a new Director of its Melbourne business. Andrew Delaney, previously Managing Director of Select AV, has joined Scene Change as its newest equity partner.
Delaney is a well-known industry figure in Melbourne, with a long history in creative technology design and production. He is also well known in the Melbourne music community, and produces a weekly show on RRR-FM.
“I got to know the Scene Change guys over a few years at conferences, and liked their style. They have a zero-compromise approach to technical production, yet manage to have an enormous amount of fun at the same time. I’m pretty amped to be a part of that now,” Delaney said.
Scene Change Co-Founder Ian Whitworth bonded with Delaney as members of notorious industry rock band AV/DC, which plays its epic final gig at the MEA National Conference in Melbourne this April. Those who missed AV/DC at last year’s conference should register here immediately.
“From the start we felt that Andrew would be a natural fit with the Scene Change vibe,” said Whitworth. “We’re not a bland organisation, and we need both skill and charisma in our equity partners. Andrew is exactly that.”
Scene Change is Australia’s most awarded AV company, winning Meetings & Events Australia’s Platinum Award this year for the highest level of excellence across the entire meetings industry.
