South African Tourism is pleased to announce that it will be hosting the Society of Incentive Travel Executives (SITE) Conference in Cape Town from 4-7 December, 2010.
Incentive houses and professional conference organisers are now encouraged to register for SITE and take advantage of the special Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events (MICE) airfares released for the conference by South African Airways.
“South African Tourism is looking forward to hosting the SITE Congress in South Africa as it is a great opportunity for us to “showcase South Africa” as a vibrant meeting and incentive destination,” says Bangu Masisi, General Manager, South African Tourism Australasia.
“In addition, the SITE Congress will act as a platform where the movers and shakers of the Business Tourism industry can meet and collaborate on our shores, whilst experiencing South Africa’s impeccable hospitality,” concluded Ms Masisi.
Head of South African Airways Australasia, Thevan Krishna, said he was delighted South African Airways is associated with the 2010 SITE Conference.
“The MICE market is a huge growth opportunity for SAA and we very much value our strong partnership with the industry. In Australia and New Zealand we offer very competitive air fares to Johannesburg and beyond. As a result we have some great airfares to support SITE this year.
“South Africa has seen major investment in new convention, accommodation and transport infrastructure ahead of the Football World Cup and we are very much looking forward to welcoming SITE delegates to our country later this year,” concluded Mr Krishna.
SITE is an international, not-for-profit, professional association devoted to the pursuit of excellence in incentives. SITE provides educational seminars and information services to those who design, develop, promote, sell and operate motivational programs as an incentive to increase productivity in business.
