Staging Connections has appointed Business Development Manager, Lynne O’Brien to the team, based in Canberra.
Holding senior sales, business development and management positions at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, City of Sydney, Staging Connections Sydney and The Star (previously Star City), Ms O’Brien returns to Canberra as Business Development Manager for Staging Connections to build awareness of the benefits of integrating digital event services into live events.
With the launch of Staging Connections’ own smartphone app, IStageEvent earlier this month, Ms O’Brien believes the Staging Connections team can enhance events across the country with the addition of customised digital elements.
“With the integration of the app, webcasting or branded web portals, companies can experience higher levels of employee engagement for events like internal awards or end of year CEO messages. As the end of the year fast approaches, businesses often find it difficult to engage with their clients prospects and suppliers, integrating digital into events offers them a simplified and yet effective approach.”
With a career that began in Canberra in the 1980’s, Ms O’Brien has produced large scale, complex events and managed a number of not for profit arts and community organisations.
Ms O’Brien is an accomplished arts, corporate and government event specialist with over 20 years experience in event sales, production and management, from small VIP meetings to large national and international events and is excited to join the Staging Connections team in Canberra.
