Staging Connections have issued a statement in response to the news yesterday of the closure of the Melbourne office.
Staging Connections yesterday announced changes to its Melbourne and Perth office structures. Equipment and staff at these offices will be relocated to venue partners, to provide an enhanced level of service through increased accessibility of technology and resources.
Tony Chamberlain, Managing Director, Staging Connections commented on the transition. “With the changes to the business announced yesterday came the communication of a small
number of redundancies. This resulted in a reduction of 10 team members in Melbourne and four in Perth, out of a total of 700 staff across Australia.
“All organisations have to evolve. The changes are designed to strengthen the business and are part of a strategy to increase efficiencies.
“We have spoken to each individual impacted by these changes and all have been treated with the utmost respect and compassion,” said Mr Chamberlain.
