This week, global integrated event services company, Staging Connections took out the state title for Western Australia (WA) in Meetings & Events Australia’s Industry Awards 2012, as the Queensland (QLD) team now look towards achieving the national Hall of Fame.
Entering the MEA Awards for the first time, the WA office submitted an entry in the category of Technical & Creative Production: Branch Turnover > $5M; taking out the state level with their first award entry recognises the investment that the global company and the Western Australian based team has made in the growing marketplace on the west coast.
Supporting the successful staging of business events in WA, Staging Connections has offices in 4 locations across the state, including high profile in-house venue partnerships, with over 70 staff dedicated to achieving the best in technical and creative production.
Joe Mawson, General Manager, Staging Connections WA, commented that winning the state award is a testament to the diversity of his team’s skills, which allows them to produce a vast array of business events.

Supporting business events on the east coast, Staging Connections QLD are on their way to entering the MEA Hall of Fame at the national awards held in Darwin 7 May 2013. The team were awarded the state title earlier this month and now look towards the national event to take home the national win for the third year in a row, resulting in admission to the highly prestigious MEA Industry Awards Hall of Fame.
Both the WA and Queensland teams will be joined in the national race for the category of Technical & Creative Production: Branch Turnover > $5M by the Staging Connections Victorian team. The hat-trick of National contenders recognises the far reaching expertise and professionalism of the Staging Connections team.
