Luke Sullivan, Principal Advisor Health Safety and Environment (HSE) at Staging Connections has taken home the trophy; winning ‘Best individual contribution to workplace health and safety’ at the NSW Government 2014 SafeWork Awards, 30 October 2014.
Luke has been instrumental in rolling out numerous campaigns across Staging Connections’ national workforce with a focus on the safety of employees, both on site and on the road. The overarching program of safety at Staging Connections is Stagesafe, the first risk management system designed specifically for the events industry. In addition to a robust system, key to Stagesafe is a mobile app, allowing workers on site to access the system any time and any place.Stagesafe’s success is a testament to the commitment of the team in maintaining the highest safety standards, and the development of the app further demonstrated the team’s drive and innovation.
