Business Events Sunshine Coast (BESC) will put the spotlight on exciting new incentive experiences the region has to offer at Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo (AIME) to be held 24-25 February 2015.
For the first time, BESC will launch the iconic Original Eumundi Market as one of the bespoke incentive experiences for corporate functions and teambuilding activities.
A seated banquet dinner or standing cocktail function under Eumundi’s famous fairy-lit fig trees can be customised by adding market street performers and up to 50 international food stalls, among other things.”
“The site has always been appealing for race-around-the-market type challenges on the two days the market operates, but the addition of creating your own market on any given day is a big draw card,” said BESC Manager, Pippa McCreery.
“Providing AIME with a taster, we will bring along a roving market stall. Original Eumundi Market Manager, Daniel West will be walking the show floor giving out ‘Eumundi dollars’ to spend on local goods, available on the stall.
“From a barefoot function on a sandbar to treating your team to a VIP experience at one of the region’s great events such as the Noosa Jazz Festival, the Sunshine Coast region is bursting with extraordinary incentive experiences,” said Ms McCreery.
BESC will be joined by seven stand partners from the Sunshine Coast, selling the region as a premium incentive and conference destination. Operators include: Australia Zoo, Kingfisher Bay Resort, Novotel Twin Waters Resort, Original Eumundi Markets, Outrigger Little Hastings Street Resort and Spa, RACV Noosa Resort and The Events Centre, Caloundra.
Business Events Sunshine Coast (BESC) is the convention bureau for the Sunshine Coast, and a division of the regional tourism organisation, Sunshine Coast Destination Ltd (SCDL). BESC is a not-for-profit, membership based organisation.
